Banner ads that grab attention, encourage interaction, and ultimately, drive results
Throughout my career, I’ve been deeply involved in the creation and development of banner ads, working on everything from small, static 15k gifs to highly engaging rich media units. The goal is always the same: capture attention and drive interaction with compelling visuals and creative storytelling, even in a small digital space. My role has encompassed concept development, creative direction, copywriting, and overseeing the design and technical production to ensure each piece not only meets the client’s needs but also engages the audience in meaningful ways.
Banner ads are often a critical part of an integrated advertising mix, and I have had the opportunity to create hundreds of them for high-profile brands. My focus is on ensuring every ad—whether static, animated, or interactive—stands out in the crowded digital space. The challenge has always been to create something eye-catching and innovative to draw attention and maximize engagement while working within technical limitations.
Skill Sets Applied:
● Concept Development: From ideation to final delivery, I collaborated with teams and clients to create banner ads that aligned with brand goals and strategies.
● Creative Direction: Leading the creative process for digital ads, ensuring the concepts resonated with target audiences and the brand’s identity was maintained.
● Client Presentation & Management: Communicated ideas clearly and effectively to stakeholders, guiding them through creative iterations and ensuring alignment on objectives.
● Copywriting: Crafted messaging that was concise, engaging, and on-brand, while delivering a call to action within limited space.
● Art Direction: Collaborated closely with designers and developers to ensure every ad was visually compelling and functioned smoothly across platforms.
● Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Worked with account teams, developers, and UX/UI specialists to ensure the technical and creative sides aligned seamlessly.
● User Experience: Focused on ensuring a smooth, intuitive interaction that encouraged users to engage with the content.
